    Course Summary: This Introduction course provides essential training on utilizing Microsoft 365 tools to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and case management. Participants will learn to navigate Outlook for professional email communication and calendar management and use Teams for secure messaging and virtual meetings. An overview of SharePoint and OneDrive will ensure participants can navigate to needed documents and save items in the correct location. This interactive course also covers creating and managing documents in Word and using Excel for spreadsheets including basic functions and formulas. Hands-on exercises will allow probation officers to practice real-world scenarios, improving their ability to manage caseloads effectively. By the end of the course, participants will have a basic understanding of the Microsoft 365 tools allowing them to streamline their daily tasks, improve communication, and maintain organized digital records.

    Performance Objectives: At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

      1. Create and send a new email with attachment.
      2. Create a new Teams meeting and invite two co-workers by checking their calendar for availability.
      3. Create a new Word document, insert a table and save the document in the correct location.
      4. Create a new Excel document, enter a set of data, use the sort feature and auto sum correctly.
